LED Solutions was asked by the team at Cobalt Connects and the City of Hamilton to create a very special outdoor sign project for local Visual Artist/Professor Angela Aujla for Hamilton Winterfest 2023.
What we did was take her art work files and created a large scale version of it. This is to span over 2 large walls. We also selected some key pieces (4 in total) “like the large hummingbird, and 3 big flowers” and did a formed LED illuminated sign box. This gave the piece some 3D effect and lighting.
The other component we direct printed on a large scale printer to sheets of ACM (aluminum composite material) and contour cut to shape. We installed on a 35′ scissor lift.
