LED Solutions plays a major part in the Crowne Plaza, Toronto Airport remodel. Working closely with their designers, construction team, and consultants, we took on the project with incredible results. Step one was to remove signs on all four elevations from this 12-storey building. We brought them back to our facility in Hamilton, and started the process of refurbishing the signs. This involved gutting the signs of old technology, sanding and repairing the aluminum sign cans, a brand new paint job, installing brand new LED modules, power supplies and electrical, brand new Lexan sign faces and vinyl graphics. While we were refurbishing their signs, they were stuccoing and upgrading the building’s exterior. We returned, and re-installed all four high-rise signs and then waited for the sun to go down for an incredible reveal. As expected, the results are amazing, however we are still always impressed by the quality of our work.
