Royal Botanical Gardens, a national historic site, is the largest botanical garden in Canada, and a registered charitable organization with an aim to bring people closer to nature and plants. With expertise in conservation, horticulture and science and education, Royal Botanical Gardens is trying to inspire and nurture society’s commitment to nature.

LED Solutions, a signage and lighting vendor to some of the major clients across Canada, has recently collaborated with Cobalt Connects, the connecting element of creative communities, to provide new look to the Royal Botanical Gardens.  The special project involved the combination of LED illuminated channel boxes and illustrations printed direct to dibond, which is made up of plastic and metal composite material.

Additionally, the sign boxes and the murals line both sides of Royal Botanical Garden’s tunnel leading visitors from the building out to the gardens. The careful layering of illuminated and non – illuminated illustrated sections adds a spectacular look to the area. These were designed by our in-house designers using Adobe software.

The last of the decorations include the retrofit of the LED fixtures which line the center ceiling of the tunnel, adding to its natural beauty. LED Solutions along with Cobalt Connects have successfully implemented the modern technology in conjunction with nature, to make it more attractive, without losing any of the natural features.
